FMHC
Carlie Mantone, is a committed and compassionate mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. With specialized training and experience in working with law enforcement personnel, first responders, and individuals impacted by acute and chronic trauma, Carlie integrates evidence-based practices with a trauma-informed lens to support clients navigating high-stress and emotionally complex environments.
Carlie completed her clinical training with the New York Police Department’s Psychological Evaluation Section, where she developed advanced competencies in psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and working within law enforcement systems. This experience has uniquely equipped her to understand the psychological demands faced by first responders and to deliver culturally responsive, stigma-sensitive care.
Carlie’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, resilience-building, and psychoeducation. She prioritizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel validated, supported, and empowered in their healing process. Her clinical work is driven by a mission to reduce barriers to mental health services and promote emotional wellness within populations that have historically been underserved or reluctant to seek care.
