Adara is a registered nurse with a strong academic and clinical foundation in mental health, trauma-informed care, and critical care nursing. She holds two bachelor’s degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on trauma and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her clinical background includes over five years of experience in critical care and high-acuity procedural settings, where she developed advanced assessment skills and the ability to deliver effective care in high-stress environments.
During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, she was selected as one of ten nurses within the Northwell Health system to assist in multiple intensive care units in Utah. This experience reinforced her adaptability, clinical judgment, and commitment to providing care during times of crisis.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook University, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. Influenced by both her professional experience and close family ties to law enforcement and military communities, she plans to focus her future practice on serving first responders. Her clinical interests include trauma-related disorders, occupational stress, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to those who serve on the front lines.
