Military

Calm Seas Psychotherapy works with many local vet centers and VA referral sources throughout New York State. In fact our program was initially created from experiences working with women veterans and military sexual trauma. We have grown to encompass individual sessions and groups specifically for military members and their families dealing with couples issues, alcohol and drug addiction, support during deployments, and children’s therapy for children who are having a difficult time adjusting to mom or dad being away.

All therapists are trained in trauma-related concerns and we have specialists on board in each of these areas in order to be as supportive as possible.
