Forensic Psychology Research Assistant Candidate

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Biola University and is currently a graduate student at John Jay College as part of the Master’s FP program. Combining skills learned from clinical assessment techniques, statistical tools, and forensic reports, he provides a complementary role for empirically supported clinical treatment.  He has had experience working with university research teams in conducting studies that seek to connect psychological topics with data analysis. He believes that the role of research is vital to the modern age of professional practitioners as a means of bridging the intersecting fields for improved service to the community.

Presently, Daniel is a candidate at Calm Seas Psychotherapy, where he is a part of a team with a focus on research. The nature of this collaborative work with other professionals in the field provides vital resources from which current and future research can have significant impact on therapy approach. He is dedicated to providing his expertise and insight towards the law enforcement community for a variety of mental health services. His goal is to provide police officers with appropriately tailored methods of resiliency that can help manage the unique stressors that are faced in their environment and interactions on a daily basis.
