MSW Candidate

Bridgette is an MSW student at Stony Brook University School of Social Welfare. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in Sociology with a minor in Health, Medicine, and Society. Bridgette has diverse experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting them through life transitions, role identity challenges, anxiety, depression, injury recovery, and disordered eating. Bridgette is dedicated to empowering clients and building their self confidence by creating a safe space to share experiences without judgment. She works jointly with clients to establish plans for accomplishing individualized goals. Bridgette utilizes a holistic approach based on Motivational Interviewing skills, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and a Strength-Based focus tailored to accommodate each client’s unique needs. Bridgette is passionate about applying her skills to working with the first responder and military community, helping them navigate challenges specific to their roles.
