Amanda Payne

Amanda graduated with a Masters of Social Work from The University at Buffalo in 2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fredonia State University in 2010. While there, she received her Bachelors, majoring in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. Amanda has training and experience in working with at risk youth, adults, families, and the forensic population. She utilizes a strength based solution focused approach with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. When working with clients she incorporates the use of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, crisis management, and mindfulness. Amanda values the importance of self determination and believes in supporting the clients need and ability to make choices that will assist them in making sustainable change.  Amanda’s mission when working with clients is to assist in enhancing their overall well-being while they navigate both basic and complex life experiences.
