Brittany Martorella

Brittany is an MSW Candidate at Stonybrook University School of
Social Welfare. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Child and Family Studies. Brittany has experience working with adolescents and adults dealing with post-traumatic-stress, anxiety, depression, issues with self-esteem and self-doubt, life transitions, domestic violence, and sexual violence, among other difficulties. Brittany values providing a warm, collaborative, open and non-judgmental environment to help clients understand the connection between thought patterns, emotions and behaviors that are impacting their goal of making deliberate, values-based choices to achieve a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Brittany’s approach integrates a CBT model of therapy as she aims to tailor sessions to each individual’s needs.
