I have worked in the child welfare system for the last eight years, from conducting investigations to foster care reunification. I have experience working with different family structures and diverse ethnic backgrounds. I have years of experience working with adults and children. I have received multiple types of training, including cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, problem-solving model, and solution-focused therapy. I graduated from Queens College with a focus on urban studies and psychology. I am also in the path of graduating with a master’s degree in social work.
