Maryann Gensler

Maryann Gensler received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. Maryann’s experience ranges from working with clients in a variety of situations including homelessness, incarcerated, justice-involved youth, at-risk children and families, developmental disabilities, caregiving and aging, and women and girls with ADHD. She uses a number of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. A holistic, strength based, person centered approach guides her practice.
