Kristin is currently a Masters candidate at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa. Kristin found her passion in crisis and trauma work after starting her job with Crisis Services in 2018. She has gained immense knowledge in working with those suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, along with many others. Kristin has experience with Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and is planning to continue her certification to treat those who have experienced crises and traumas.

Kristin currently works as the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training Coordinator at Crisis Services and has the opportunity to work with law enforcement and first responders daily. She organizes trainings to help officers increase their knowledge about mental health, communication and de-escalation. Kristin is eager to continue to work with those who serve our community and put emphasis on the importance of officer wellness and safety.
