Gina is a Stony Brook University MSW graduate and has her Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College. Gina has certificates in Children of Trauma and Resilience as well as Trauma-Informed School Practices from Starr Commonwealth. She has continued education certificates in Suicide Prevention and Disaster Mental Health Training. Gina has worked with individuals, ran youth groups, and community outreach through the nonprofit and school settings. She is passionate about helping other people recognize the impact mental health has on the body. Gina helps clients create a healthy outlet to express their challenges and improve their emotional wellbeing. She uses the integrative therapeutic approaches of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Strengths-Based perspectives. Gina wants therapy to be something her clients can look forward to, empowering change and promoting self-care. She specializes in the clinical treatment of various populations, including children, anxiety/depression, grief, PTSD, and trauma.
