Are you always trying a new diet? Do you feel like your life revolves around food? Do you think you’ll finally be able to accept your body once you lose “x” amount of pounds? You are not alone! No human is immune to the pressure society places upon us to be thin. This twelve-week support group is for anyone who struggles with their relationship with food and their body. Members will share their experiences and strengths with the goal of moving away from harmful eating and dieting behaviors. We will learn how and explore why fixations with food, dieting and our bodies directly impact our ability to lead full lives. In a safe group space, we will focus on healthier ways to cope while supporting each other in the ultimate aim of body acceptance.
